Le Néo is an independent community organization based in the Lanaudière region that promotes well-being and healthy emotional and sexual habits.
More specifically, its mission is to:
-offer education and support services primarily in the prevention of HIV, HCV and other sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs);
-Promote the adoption and maintenance of safe behaviors among vulnerable populations with regard to STIs;
-educate the public about sexual orientation and gender identity;
-support people living with HIV (PLHIV) and their families;
-support people who are queer or concerned about their sexual orientation or gender identity, and their loved ones;
-provide social activities for queer people and their allies;
-fight against discrimination linked to homophobia, transphobia and serophobia;
-support victims of homophobic, transphobic and serophobic discrimination;
-networking and acting as a spokesperson for Neo's member community organizations on sexual health issues.
